The non-essential amino acid L-citrulline is found naturally in watermelon among other foods, and is a natural precursor to the amino L-arginine. Because effective doses of supplemental arginine are not safe compared to citrulline in its supplement form, you should just get your arginine in the form of citrulline.

Citrulline increases arginine, in turn increasing nitric oxide. Nitric oxide increases your blood flow without necessarily increasing your blood pressure: This is critical for anyone who does any sort of athletic activity, as improved blood flow will improve performance, reduce lactic acid buildup and just get more nutrients and oxygen flowing to where the body needs it.
So in short, it’s good for you if you lift weights and need your body’s blood to go places. Also if you eat a lot of protein, which you probably do if you lift like a motherfucker, you should definitely take citrulline. Ammonia is a typical byproduct of protein in the diet, and citrulline helps your liver take care of that stuff. Your liver deals with enough shit from god knows whatever else you put in your body, so spare it the damage and take some.

Because it acts to increase the amount of free-flowing nitric oxide as I mentioned earlier, it will increase circulation to your dong. Ladies love hard dongs. It’s the very same mechanism of action that the pharmaceutical boner pills use to work their magic.
It’s probably not as strong as the good ol’ blue diamond that old guys take to get raging hard-ons when the getting is good. However if you’re a young feller like me, you could see some benefit in having erections of steel. Namely, for boning multiple times in a day. You know how after you screw, you end up softer?

Yeah, citrulline helps things to come back up for a little longer. You could bone 2, maybe 3 more times with sufficient hardness to spare. Assuming your testosterone is in check and you’ve been getting your sleep like you’re supposed to.
Usually I take citrulline just to work out, but in addition to my testosterone minerals and such, and supplements like ashwagandha, I wake up with a raging hard-on that almost refuses to go away. When I bone with citrulline, the sex is intense.

Bonus: Ladies can get in on the fun too. Apparently increasing nitric oxide levels in blood will help make things “down there” a little more fun for females as well.
So if you can stand to have things the usual way, even if you don’t lift, get some citrulline and take 1.5 grams one or two times a day. I haven’t found much more significant increases in boner power with anything more than about 3 grams, but experiment for yourself. I intend on taking more absurd (yet reasonable) doses to see what it does. Examine says 6 – 8 grams an hour before exercise should improve performance.
