About / Disclaimer

Pill Scout is a pragmatic perspective on supplements whether herbal, pharmaceutical, or nutritional.

Pill Scout’s goal isn’t to push one perspective over an other, but rather to take a step back and see the bigger picture.

While an attempt to be “unbiased” is impossible, Pill Scout merely wants to make a record of what works and what doesn’t in the form of a blog. You can read some bro’s post on Bodybuilding.com or see what the tinfoil hats have to say at NaturalNews, but either can come across as simply working an angle.

The bottom line is anything reviewed in favor here has been evaluated by the Pill Scout himself. He is no stranger to being an experimental subject, with caution of course.

As I, Pill Scout, have no vested commercial interest in this site aside from an affiliate commission I may earn on products that I know to work for myself, I can say that everything here is written in the spirit of honesty, good faith and good ol’ scientific curiosity.

Disclaimer

Pill Scout is not a doctor, licensed nutritionist or medical expert. (Legally in most jurisdictions I can refer to myself as a “nutritionist” even without any licensure or certification but I don’t need to use a fancy title like that.)

Not a single word or image or meme or infographic on pillscout.com or written by Pill Scout is intended to be taken as professional medical advice or even advice at all. Pill Scout is not your daddy, and you are responsible for yourself. If you are a grown adult who can make his or her own decisions, follow any suggestions or advice here at your own peril. Or benefit.

tl;dr – Just use your brain and you won’t die.

Affiliate Disclosure

As mentioned before, many of the posts contain affiliate links where we earn a commission whenever someone makes a purchase through said links.

While it is possible to purchase similar products elsewhere, and I invite you to do so if you can find a better deal, I recommend purchasing from companies such as Powder City and iHerb because of their impeccable customer service and their competitively-priced and wide inventory of supplements and nootropics.

For everything else, I simply recommend buying products where you can find them. (Buyer beware, online at least!) I also recommend reading reviews or asking at Reddit’s /r/Nootropics about purchasing from certain vendors.

I do not endorse any product I have not or would not use, and I hold no allegiance to any company’s product on any basis other than quality.
